Shaun Robison is an entrepreneurial, senior education leader who has delivered a range of projects within the GCC education sector. He has worked with investors, operating companies, consultants, teachers and government regulators to plan, license and deliver start-up projects with large cap-ex requirements. He is passionate about education and entrepreneurship and has a unique mix of commercial and educational competencies.
Shaun has written feasibility studies, built and tested the financial models for schools and early learning centers and successfully managed their openings within Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Shaun was responsible for delivering the accredited Lead Practitioner programme across the UAE and scaled the programme from four schools to forty seven schools in a three year period.
He has a full working knowledge of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Lusail City Real Estate Development Company.
Shaun was the Head of School Development for Sobha Developers and managed the opening of Hartland International School in 2015, a premium, British Curriculum School in Dubai. Shaun also managed the opening of IDEA Early Learning Center in 2016 in Victory Heights, Dubai and serves as a governor to the Center.
Shaun is the co-founder of the UAE Learning Network – the largest online network of teachers within the UAE. He is a Research Associate for Newcastle University and a member of the British Educational Research Association.
