The Perceptions of Online Learning Survey

General

Has the Middle East finally recognised the benefits of online learning?

The Perceptions of Online Learning Survey – a timely reminder that parents and children are changing faster than the rest of the education sector.

A survey on the perceptions of online schooling has been launched by Cody Claver, a member of the Education Intelligence Group, a Dubai-based network of educators and the General Manager of iCademy Middle East. The survey seeks to explore the increase in parents choosing online schooling as an option for their children, as the cost of education soars and parents demand more flexibility around long working hours.

Cody Claver, the General Manager of iCademy Middle East and consultant at the Education Intelligence Group (EIG) has developed the survey to explore the shifting sands of online learning in the region. The survey explores the roles of parents and teachers and seeks to gain an insight into how online learning is perceived within the Middle East.

Cody Claver has seen a marked growth in parents choosing online learning for a variety of reasons, ranging from flexibility, more individual attention, affordability and the pace of learning.
